The media sector in the UK is quite simple and straightforward. They are divided into four groups on the basis of their intellect levels –

·         Highly serious and intellectual

·         Serious and intellectual but diluted for the reader’s convenience as they don’t have much time on their hands

·         Sensationalist and non-intellectual, is often derided by a number of A and B papers

·         Hugely sensational and highly non-intellectual, barely qualify as a newspaper at all

These four categories contain a number of newspapers that are either right-wing, or left-wing, or centrist, or center-left, or center-right. The right wing is supportive of conservatives and nationalists while the left wing supports communists, liberals, socialists, and democrats. Both the right-wing and left-wing are quite different from each other.
